Fall Trends We Love for 2017

Back to school shopping is usually reserved for the kids, but why can't back to school shopping be for MOM too?

There are some really great fall looks I'm into. Here are a few that I can't wait to shop for back to school.

70's Plaid

1970s plaid is back in an unmissable way. This fall, you will find the vintage plaid patterns in a variety of color combinations from muted earth tones to the bright and bold.

Victorian Collars

An always romantic trend, the Victorian collar adds a touch of drama to your work or play wardrobe for this fall.

Fishnet tights are one of the rare accessories that can be worn at work in a tasteful way under a pair of fitted slacks, but when the slacks are swapped out for denim, the entire outfit is completely transformed into this edgy cool look that can be worn anywhere but work. I'm also really liking fishnet socks...They are the perfect modern grunge throwback... quirky with just the right amount of drama to add a hint of glam to any otherwise basic outfit.

Mid-Length Skirts

The mid-length skirts are everywhere and I am totally digging them... I think fashion has finally nailed this length and it's not confined to the pencil skirt either. You can mid-length styles in pleats, trapeze, and asymmetrical giving all body shapes a flattering option.

Chocolate Brown

Chocolate brown is resurfacing after spending many years in hiding. I'm pretty excited about this return because I think it’s such a neutral and versatile color that seems to look good on every skin tone.

Belted Coats

Last year's bulky coat gets an update this fall with the addition of a waist-cynching belt. You can work this trend with a long oversized coat, a short bomber style jacket, and this even works really well with a closed blazer.  Another reason I love the belted coat is that it's universally flattering on all body types.
